Elle talks about fulfilment, the secret to her wellbeing and her “incredible life”.
Such humble and beautiful words, extracts from article below.
On life lessons she wants to impart to her sons: “I hope they are never afraid to ask questions. That’s something I didn’t do when I was younger, because I was so afraid of being perceived as being not smart.’’
On body image: “First of all, I see a big difference between when I was 20, when I was 30, when I was 40, and now I’m 51. I have done well with what I have, but honestly, there’s a big difference, and I am OK with that. What I’ve learnt is that what bothers me today will not be bothering me tomorrow.”
On THE SUPER ELIXRTM: “It’s the key to my wellbeing at this age – an alkaline diet with a nutritious green supplement. I’ve got plenty of energy, my skin, hair and nails are good, my mood is good. I look after my body not so it looks good . . . but so I am healthy, strong, vibrant, energized and happy. That’s more important to me than a number on the scale.’’
On her affinity with the Bahamas: “I fell in love with it because it reminded me of the south coast of Australia in its simplicity and rawness . . . my children grew up there, as I always wanted them to, because it was the closest place to Australia for me.’’
